Paul Stamatiou replied on February 26, 2010 19:35 to the question "Customize texts?" in Skribit:
Hi - unfortunately we do not currently have any such internationalization support and the only text you can change is the "what should I write about" prompt. Sorry! We are focusing on building out the English features then we will expand to other languages when they have all been built out.
That being said - what language would you like to see Skribit in?

Hi Jay - you can follow someone by clicking the follow button on the top of their user profile page. For example mine is http://skribit.com/people/PStamatiou
Let me know if this helps!

Paul Stamatiou replied on February 08, 2010 15:14 to the question "How can I have multiple notification emails?" in Skribit:
Hi Amy, thanks for the question. At the moment this is not possible. The long answer is that support for multiple-author/user/etc blogs and accounts is on our roadmap but I can't give you any kind of real answer for timeframe as I just don't know. :-/
That being said we rolled out the ability to reply to suggestions (in addition to the usual linking to posts) last night. It's "complete suggestion" in the actions menu on a suggestion in the manage page. We haven't yet announced it yet. :)

Paul Stamatiou replied on February 01, 2010 02:11 to the question "What's the best livejournal tweak I can do to Skribit to make it pretty?" in Skribit:
So LiveJournal does not allow third party javascript embeds to run, which is what Skribit widgets need to work. Short of migrating your site to another CMS, like a self-hosted WordPress install, or convincing LifeJournal to whitelist Skribit and support its use on http://community.livejournal.com/sugg..., I do not think it will be possible to run Skribit on an LJ site. :-/
You can always link to your Skribit blog profile page (for ex mine is http://skribit.com/blogs/paulstamatio... ) and accept suggestions through there.

Ah I just meant your site's theme in general, not any particular file. Usually this is done in a header.php type file but Thesis is a different beast entirely. Fortunately I run Thesis on my own site so I'm familiar with it. You'll have to open custom_functions.php in the custom folder. Go to skribit and customize the Suggestions Tab colors, location and so on how you like, then copy the code (it is important to customize first as the code changes). Then go to the custom_functions.php. I'm not sure what you already have there but you will need to add another section. Here's what the entire file could look if you had nothing else:

Paul Stamatiou replied on January 29, 2010 20:47 to the question "My Skribit plug-in doesn't do anything" in Skribit:
Hi, it appears the widget code is in the blog code field, instead of the blog code. A very understandable misunderstanding :) The next version of our WordPress plugin will be more user-friendly. In the Skribit Menu in the Admin section, just enter your blog code (in your case, it's 402940ceb7f2325f100a9e76da849179 ) instead of the embed code.
As for the Suggestions Tab, this is not currently possible with the WordPress plugin and can only be installed manually by copying and pasting our embed code into the your site's theme. The code for that Suggestions Tab for you and the customizer for it can be found on Manage -> "Setup and Customize" -> Suggestions Tab: http://skribit.com/widgets/point2agen...
Sorry about the confusion and let me know if you have any other concerns,

We realize this need, and actually played with some implementations of it but the search results weren't that good and we needed to keep tinkering with it before it was something we felt comfortable taking live. It got put on the backburner while we worked on refining our core suggestions tool.. but alas it is on our roadmap!
As for finding a blog's profile, that would be easier if you followed them so then you could look at who you follow.. but of course still not as good as if we had native full-text search! duly noted.
Best,

Okay fixed now, for real. haha. Might have to shift-refresh to get the latest version of the Javascript. that being said I think it will be interesting to add this as an option for users - "open widget links in a new window?" , et cetera.
That being said, I never noticed this because out of habit I always command-click or right-click open in new tab to get the behavior I want.
