Link to carrier website
Sometimes TrackThePack is a little slow at updating the information from the carrier's website. It would be nice if the tracking number that results in plain text after you submit it were instead a link. If clicked on, the link would take the user to the carrier's website where the latest information would be available (alas, in a nasty looking format). I've only noticed this problem with USPS so far... the information lags behind on TrackThePack by about a day or so.

Inappropriate? We update tracking information every 2 hours. USPS is a bit of a special case in that USPS themselves rarely actually have updated tracking information (many times their own site displays data 24+ hours after the event has happened).
That is an issue with USPS's tracking system and is something that wouldn't really be solved by giving you a link to the USPS site. -
Inappropriate?Okay then, point taken. USPS tracking sucks. However, there is a considerable lag that is more than 2 hours. Take a look at this number:
9102805213683102845545
It was accepted and processed on June 3, and TMP says "Processed" next to the number, but does not show on the map nor list the last two happenings in the details.
However, another number of mine just showed up as delivered right on time. So I don't know what this issue is at all.
I’m confused...

Inappropriate?Really the only explanation for that would be USPS not updating the information they send us. So they might update the info on their site but not update the stream of information they are sending us...thus delaying how fast we can update data.
I know that answer doesn't really solve the problem, but right now it's the best we can do until USPS updates the technology on their end, I'm afraid.
Sorry about that. -
Inappropriate?Nevermind, TTP has been doing absolutely fabulously with USPS and all other carriers recently. Data has been coming in right on time, when expected. Bravo!
I’m thankful
