Package tracking & notifications via Twitter direct message
It'd be great if one could track packages by sending a Twitter direct message as well as receive delivery notifications via direct messages.

Inappropriate?Thanks for the suggestion Morgan.
I'm curious...what form of input would you be using to send in your DM to twitter? My hesitation here is that most people would be going to the actual twitter website...which doesn't really offer any benefit than just going to the actual trackthepack.com site to enter your number. -
Inappropriate?I always keep a Twitter client open on my computer, but also receive select Twitter notifications to my cell phone (it's more convenient to manage than multiple sites' SMS features). I also occasionally use a Twitter client on my iPod touch, but if I had an iPhone I'd use it even more extensively.
I think being able to receive notifications to Twitter (direct messages) would be most useful, but it seems that if you'd ever implement that that you might as well support accepting tracking numbers via Twitter as well. -
Inappropriate?Got ya.
So what specific notifications would you be interested in getting DM'd for? Every new "step" (there can be a dozen or more steps for each package) or just things like "Out for Delivery" and "Delivered"? -
Inappropriate?I don't see a reason to do anything more than "Out for Delivery" & "Delivered", esp. for initial feature release.
