Why is an item that was picked up in ANAHEIM, CA and scheduled to be delivered to NORTHRIDGE, CA first sent to Maryland, then Connecticut, BEFORE being delivered back to CA?????????

Inappropriate?Wish I could help you out there. FedEx (and any carrier for that matter) supposedly route packages by grouping them with packages of similar destination. Sometimes that means they go completely out of their way to get there...but it is what it is.
If TrackThePack was capable of re-routing packages, we would. :)
